About the Position

Job Title

Vascular Sonographer – Radiology/Cardiology Tech

Location

Jackson, TN | Vascular and Cardiology Clinic

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – 4x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | No on-call, no weekends, no holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of General and Vascular Ultrasound examinations in a Vascular and Cardiology Clinic setting
• Operate GE ultrasound equipment and utilize PACS systems for image acquisition and management
• Document and manage patient imaging records accurately within the Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care and efficient workflow
• Float to other areas as needed to support departmental operations

Required Qualifications

• ARDMS-RVT or ARRT-VS certification required
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Active compact or Tennessee state license required
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on vascular sonography experience required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 18 months required ; must be clearly documented and candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt only)
• GE ultrasound and PACS experience required
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a combined Vascular and Cardiology clinical environment
• Familiarity with vascular clinic workflows and multi-modality imaging protocols
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team
