A day in this role

On any given shift, you’ll transform prints into precision parts that keep critical systems running worldwide. You will:

• Set up and operate CNC and semiautomatic equipment in a continuous production environment to produce complex components, subassemblies, and finished assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
• Upload and edit CNC programs, provide set-up sheets, deburr parts, sharpen tools, and configure tooling to achieve spec.
• Work largely independently while taking direction from the Production Supervisor and collaborating with experienced teammates.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs; collect data for Engineering; identify and troubleshoot machine issues and recommend corrective actions.

Where and when you’ll work

This on-site position is based in Cortland, NY and reports to the Production Supervisor.

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:30 PM–6:30 AM

What you bring

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 18 months of hands-on experience as a CNC machine operator.
• Proficiency with CNC tooling plus setup and changeover on CNC lathes (2–4 axis).
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for 8+ hours; able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Compensation and benefits

• Hourly pay range: $34.39–$35.43 per hour (range may change in the future).
• Comprehensive benefits for eligible employees, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k).
