MARCO Federal Services, LLC is seeking an  Entry-Level Project Engineer to support federal engineering and construction projects from estimating and planning through execution and closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract requirements.
• Perform quantity/material take-offs and assist with labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimating.
• Assist with developing, updating, and tracking project schedules and milestones.
• Support RFIs, submittals, procurement, cost tracking, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Participate in site visits, field measurements, surveys, inspections, testing, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Identify and communicate technical, cost, schedule, quality, and safety concerns.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• Ability to read engineering/construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of take-offs, estimating, scheduling, and project coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel; familiarity with RS Means, 4eclicks, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, CAD, or similar software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability and flexibility to travel to project sites, including overnight or multi-day travel when required.
• Ability to safely move through active construction/project sites and comply with PPE and site safety requirements.
• Ability to meet applicable federal customer site-access and security requirements.
