Meador an Openwork Company is currently seeking a dependable HR Assistant to join a growing safety equipment supplier in Pasadena, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and take pride in providing excellent support while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Job Description:

The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department and helps ensure efficient HR operations. This role assists with recruitment, employee records management, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations activities while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies and employment laws

Requirements:

• Assist with recruiting activities, including verifying Social Security numbers and IDs, conducting background checks, and supporting the new-hire process.

• Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation while maintaining accurate employee personnel records and HR databases.

• Prepare and process employment-related documentation, including offer letters, employment verifications, and employee status changes.

• Support payroll and benefits administration by maintaining accurate employee information and assisting with employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

• Assist with employee training, development initiatives, HR reporting, and general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and document management.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and employment requirements while demonstrating strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Location: Pearland, TX

Schedule: 8am-5pm

Pay: $20/hour
