Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and compliance
• Skillful at adapting lesson plans to diverse learning needs
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
• Ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver customized instructional plans for students with varying abilities
• Create a safe, engaging classroom environment that supports inclusion and achievement
• Write, update, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments as needed
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student goals and achievements
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all school policies and educational regulations
