Meet the Team TheHealth andDiagnostics Team at Torcis responsible fordeveloping critical diagnostics software that ensures the safety, serviceability, and performance of our autonomous vehicle platforms. As a member of this team,you’llwork on next-generation automotive diagnostic solutions that interface with electronic control units (ECUs), enabling both in-vehicle and remote fault detection, data logging, and recovery strategies. WhatYou’llDo Design, implement, andmaintaindiagnostic software and communication stacks based on automotive protocols including UDS (ISO 14229), SOVD, and CAN (ISO 11898). Develop diagnostic services supporting fault memory, DTCs, routine control, and data identifiers using UDS over CAN andDoIP. Implement andvalidateservice-oriented architectures (SOA) using technologies like SOME/IP, SOVD, and Ethernet. Support integration and debugging ofdiagnosticsfeatures on benches and test vehicles. Work cross-functionally with cloud and edge-based systems to enable remote diagnosticsandtelemetrycapabilities. Contribute to the development of robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms for ECUs and vehicle systems. WhatYou’llNeed to Succeed Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 5–7+ years of experience (or aMaster’s Degreewith 3–5+ years of experience). Provenexpertisein C++ for algorithm development, system design, and high-performance tooling. Experience developing embedded ordiagnosticssoftware in the automotive industry. Experience with vehicle communication stacks (e.g.DoIP, Ethernet) and knowledge on sensor connectivity using RS232 and/or GMSL Strong debugging and validation skills in an automotive environment. Understanding ofautomotive cybersecurity principles and secure communication protocols. Bonus Points! Hands on experience implementing Service oriented vehiclediagnostics(SOVD)using REST API protocol ROS2 development experience Knowledge of cloud-integrated vehicle health monitoring and predictive maintenance systems. Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools (e.g.,Bazel). Familiarity with ISO 26262 and development of ASIL-compliant systems.
