Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Field Services Engineer based in Mount Vernon, IL. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing routine preventive maintenance on IT systems, and providing hands‑on support for technical and hardware‑related concerns. The engineer will work directly with clients, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions to their IT needs while maintaining strong customer relationships. Qualifications Proficiency in Field Service operations, including on‑site equipment installation and maintenance Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for resolving hardware and software issues Experience in performing Preventive Maintenance to ensure system reliability Effective Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate solutions clearly and professionally Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize effectively Experience with IT systems and hardware is a strong advantage Technical certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent, are preferred NOT required.
