Join Our Team as a Tax Accountant

As a full-service accounting firm based in Saline, Michigan, we provide accounting, tax assistance, payroll solutions, and business performance support for small businesses and individuals. Daily Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with regulations
• Assist clients with tax planning and strategies to minimize liabilities
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for tax filings
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with financial statements, balance sheets, and general ledger
• Proficiency in accounting software and account reconciliation
• Ability to perform journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Understanding of internal controls and accruals

Nice to Have Skills:

• Min 5 year Tax experience 1120, 1065, 1040
• Experience with taxes, financial reporting, and reconciliation
• Quickbooks accounting software, and prefer Ultra Tax software
• Ability to perform financial analysis and accounting review for team members

Salary and Benefits:

Minimum Salary: $45,000.00

Maximum Salary: $65,000.00
