Family Nurse Practitioner

Overview Exciting full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Burlington, NC. MainStreet Family Care is growing and seeks a fast, fun, and friendly FNP to provide patient‑focused care across urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The role is ideal for early‑career FNPs, including brand new graduates who have not yet taken boards. After on‑site orientation and training, you will work shifts with experienced providers and receive ongoing support such as complimentary pediatric urgent care courses and on‑call clinical decision‑making help. Responsibilities Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues Performing minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.) Suturing Splinting General orthopedic evaluation and management Reviewing x‑rays (over‑read by a radiologist) General dermatology General eye problem assessment General EKG interpretation Emergency management skills General GYN expertise Treating children of all ages Occupational medicine Telemedicine Schedule Clinic hours are extended, 7 days a week. Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON). Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).
