The work environment includes: Growth opportunities Wellness programs Casual work attire Relaxed atmosphere On‑the‑job training Company perks Flexible working hours Safe work environment Lively atmosphere Essential Duties and Responsibilities Providing high‑quality care and establishing respectful relationships with children, families, and visitors Having good physical stamina; able to lift children and work at their physical level Understanding how to identify and meet the needs of young children Treating children, families, and visitors with dignity, respect, and professionalism Committed to safeguarding the welfare of toddlers and young children; supervising their activities at all times Maintaining cleanliness of toys, puzzles, and room surfaces Managing check‑in and check‑out lists for all children and parents/guardians Communicating needs of KidsPlace supplies to management Addressing member complaints and concerns to management Assisting front desk staff with greeting, checking in, and directing all members and guests Assisting front desk staff with answering and directing all incoming phone calls and updating billing Performing opening and/or closing procedures for the club Maintaining cleanliness of the gym (cleaning/organizing) Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods when needed Maintains professionalism and appearance, avoiding non‑work activities such as eating, reading, or internet surfing Other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Highly motivated and energetic Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask Team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary Required Education, Certifications and Experience Experience in childcare or babysitting Clean background check CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (provided if not already certified) Teaching: 1 year (Preferred) Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred) Experience in a health club or hospitality industry (Preferred) Ability to Commute/Relocate Derry, NH: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr Zoo Gym LLC
