About the Role The Registered Nurse reports directly to the Director of Nursing. The RN will provide nursing support in a hybrid capacity, both field, office and remote as needed covering programs in Gloucester, Camden, Cumberland and Atlantic County. Responsibilities Complete annual Nursing Assessments for each residential individual Conduct quarterly choking assessments for each individual in day‑only and residential programs identified as high risk Review all dietary changes for day‑only and residential programs Conduct specialized training for new hire orientations, boot camp classes and ongoing as needed Review medication charts, labs and medication counts to ensure accuracy within the group home Assist group homes with primary care physician or other doctors as needed Review charts to ensure all required documentation has been received Qualifications Licensed to practice as an RN in the state of New Jersey One year of nursing experience preferred, new graduates considered Previous professional experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, with sense of humor Strong passion for working with and helping adults with special needs Comfortable traveling to different group homes Devereux is a drug‑free workplace, drug screening required.
