Medicus has partnered with a hospital 30 minutes south of Jacksonville, Florida, that has an opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage. Opportunity Details: Schedule: 24-hour call Patient Volume: 30 per day Patient Population: Adults Duties: Emergency call coverage, inpatient and emergency department consultations, and operative coverage Required Procedures: CABG, valve repair/replacement, thoracic procedures, lung resections and emergency cardiac procedures, and management of thoracic trauma EMR: MediTech, Patient Keeper, eCW Must be board-certified or board-eligible Additional Certification: DEA Paid travel & expenses During your time off, spend the day at the beach, walk a scenic waterfront park, and visit local restaurants and markets.
