Contribute to students’ growth and well-being as a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician working in a warm, supportive school community in the North Chicago area. In this contract role, you'll make a lasting impact in both elementary (K-4) and middle school (7-8) settings, supporting learners’ social, behavioral, and academic development. The position runs for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning August 27, 2026, and concluding June 12, 2027, with a steady Monday through Friday schedule from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm. You'll work 35 hours each week with built-in breaks for balance and focus.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a school-based setting.
• Proven ability to work effectively with both elementary and middle school students.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills.
• Organized and self-motivated with a commitment to fostering positive student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Gather behavioral data and monitor student progress on targeted goals.
• Support students in daily routines, facilitating their engagement in classroom learning and social interactions.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and families to create positive learning environments.
• Use reinforcement and evidence-based strategies to help students develop essential skills.
