About the Role As an Associate Veterinarian in Leander, Texas , you will: Provide comprehensive medical care to small animal patients Perform wellness examinations and preventive medicine Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans Perform routine outpatient surgical procedures based on experience Perform and/or assist with dental procedures Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care Maintain accurate and timely medical records Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff Participate in case management and clinical decision-making Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture Continue developing clinical skills through mentorship and continuing education Candidate Profile Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) Licensed, or eligible for licensure, in Texas Veterinary license in good standing Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Passion for continued learning and professional development Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team New graduates are encouraged to apply Experienced veterinarians are welcome DEA license preferred Experienced veterinarians may have the opportunity to earn well over $200,000 annually through the production-based compensation structure, with no negative accrual .
