2nd Shift Production Supervisor

This role is responsible for ensuring production and shipping schedules are met, maintaining quality standards, developing employees, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

Production & Operations

• Lead daily production and shipping activities to achieve safety, quality, and on-time delivery goals.
• Ensure products are manufactured and shipped accurately according to customer specifications.
• Review production schedules, allocate resources, and adjust priorities to meet customer demand.
• Monitor daily production performance and communicate key metrics to leadership.
• Maintain effective communication between shifts to ensure smooth transitions and operational continuity.

Team Leadership

• Train, coach, and develop production associates.
• Provide regular performance feedback and support employee growth.
• Promote accountability while creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Foster teamwork and encourage continuous improvement throughout the operation.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Ensure employees consistently follow established procedures and work instructions.
• Document process improvements and maintain accurate operating procedures.
• Support audit readiness by ensuring compliance with internal processes and customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and eliminate production bottlenecks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Document Control, and other departments to support production goals.
• Communicate operational challenges and implement solutions with cross-functional teams.

Safety

• Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Reinforce all company safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure associates receive proper safety training and follow safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Production Lead, Process Assistant, or in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
