Tech - MRI

Job Summary:

The MRI Tech is responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce detailed diagnostic images. They collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform MRI scans on patients according to physician orders and established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
  
  
• 
  Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Document each procedure and maintain accurate patient records.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Ohio MRI technologist license or eligible compact license.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 18 months of permanent MRI technologist experience in a clinical setting.
  
  
• 
  Active certifications in MRI safety and operation, with nothing pending.
  
  
• 
  Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safemedicate assessments, scoring acceptable in both.
  
  
• 
  Pass background check and drug screening within required time frames.
  
  
• 
  No license hits or violations on record.
