Position Overview

Our facility is on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to become a key part of our expanding imaging team. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you'll perform diagnostic procedures, work collaboratively with clinicians, and deliver peace of mind to patients through precise and timely imaging results.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining each step of the process with kindness and compassion.
• Engage in close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee top-notch diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring any malfunctions are reported efficiently.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and manage patient information within the electronic medical record system.

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
