This position ensures production goals are met during second shift operations by safely and efficiently operating press brake machinery. The operator is responsible for interpreting blueprints, setting up equipment, and making precise adjustments to produce high-quality finished parts. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintaining product integrity, equipment performance, and workplace safety. This role is key to delivering consistent, accurate metal fabrications on schedule. Schedule 2nd Shift: MondayThursday, 4:30 PM 2:30 AM Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience operating press brake machinery or similar metal fabrication equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Basic math skills for measurements and bend calculations Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Preferred Qualifications Certification in press brake operation or metal fabrication Experience in a manufacturing or shift-based production environment Familiarity with CNC press brake programming and operation Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures Skills The ability to interpret blueprints and accurately set up press brake machinery is essential for producing precision-formed metal components.
