Requirements

• Dentrix
• Infection Control License
• Licensed dental hygienist

Valid Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR); experience with Dentrix preferred
Strong knowledge of infection control, aseptic technique, and HIPAA compliance
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Job Description

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and dental hygiene evaluations
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and prophylaxis with accuracy
Acquire and interpret dental x-rays and other imaging to assist in diagnosis
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-procedure instructions
Document patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
Implement strict infection control and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
Stay current with dental hygiene best practices, terminology, and technology
Foster a comfortable, positive experience for every patient
