The role also supervises social workers and interns, provides clinical consultation, and partners with school staff to support student mental health services. Minimum Qualifications Master's in Social Work and NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required. 2-5 years of previous experience as an LCSW working with children and youth presenting emotional and behavioral challenges. Previous school-based experience highly desired. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. Strong interest in and commitment to racial equity, social justice, parent engagement, public health, and equity and excellence. Ability to work with fidelity to a model while maintaining flexibility to adapt to a school's needs. Strong data management and reporting capabilities. Excellent organization skills and ability to multi‑task. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a flexible and can‑do attitude. Travel required across school health sites in the Bronx and Queens. Key Duties Coordinate and manage the School Behavioral Health Program and its associates; monitor providers’ templates, scheduling, and coverage of School Health Social Workers and Social Work Interns. Provide professional development to supervisees to strengthen and reinforce clinical skills. Promote integration of learning into practice; provide direct supervision (individual and group) and clinical consultation to Social Workers for at least four hours per month. Provide individual therapy when a school social worker is unavailable at the site. Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation by all Social Workers in accordance with internal, DOE, and regulatory requirements; participate in quality improvement efforts and peer review. Serve as a liaison with directors, managers, and supervisors across the organization to ensure consistency with processes and clinical documentation. Coordinate with school administration during crisis events to support the crisis response. Be accessible by telephone to provide clinical consultation and collaboration to School Administration and School Health associates. Collaborate with Directors to promote team‑based care and foster medical integration for continuity of care among providers. Execute tasks and recommendations that impact policies and programs, allocating resources to achieve targets and goals. Participate in regional and monthly team meetings; collaborate with NYC DOE. Provide technical assistance, guidance, and case consultation to DOE teams at school, borough, or Central Office level to enable robust referral pathways. Organize or participate in outreach activities, including communications, training, and event promotion. Adhere to regulatory requirements defined by UHP Policies, NYC Agencies, NY State Agencies, and Federal Agencies. Perform and oversee payroll for all SBH social workers. Conduct onboarding training for new SBH Behavioral Health Providers. Perform additional duties as assigned.
