At BLUE BAYOU RESTAURANT & OYSTER BAR, part of LKM Restaurant Group LLC in the heart of New Orleans, LA, we’re looking for a dedicated Night Prep Cook to join our team. If you have at least one year of experience and take pride in ensuring a smooth kitchen operation, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

As a Night Prep Cook, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and ensuring our guests enjoy the high-quality dishes we’re known for. Your responsibilities will include:

Prepping food products to maintain a fully stocked cook line.
Cutting and defrosting food items with precision and care.
Stocking the line and preparing for the next shift to ensure seamless transitions.
Maintaining a clean and organized prep area.

Your work will directly contribute to the success of our kitchen team and the satisfaction of our guests.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a team player with the following qualifications:

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Skills: Strong knife skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Work Ethic: A proactive attitude and a commitment to keeping the kitchen well-stocked and prepared for the next shift.
