In this role, you will work as part of a team involved in projects relating to construction project management, program management, construction claims and contract dispute resolution, litigation services and related construction consulting services. You will be responsible for Developing, updating, and analyzing project schedulesPlanning and analyzing project costsTracking and managing project scope changes and project risksReviewing project documents and performing document controlPreparing project and program status reportsSupporting requests of project leads and clientsProviding construction project advisory servicesDeveloping written reports and presentationsNetworking with industry associations and professionals You will have the following skills and qualifications B.S in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related discipline plus 5 + years of industry experience (internships included) or M.S. in Engineering plus 3 - 5 years of industry experience (internships included); advanced degree(s), Registration and Certifications are preferredIndustry experience on construction projects that involve multiple engineering disciplines is desirable Ability to decipher engineering design drawings and as-built documentationAbility to work within project teams with a strong desire to contributeAbility to interact effectively with both internal and external clientsProactive and self-driven to navigate complexities and resolve hurdlesClose attention to detail, through in execution of tasks, and timely in task completionsStrong analytical thinking and data management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of common construction related software including Primavera, Procure, InEight, PlanGrid, AutoDesk, Navisworks, and Microsoft office toolsExperience in contract dispute resolution and construction claims, litigation services and construction consulting services is a plus, but not necessaryPresently legally authorized to work in the US, no immigration sponsorship or visa processing required Life @ Exponent To learn more about life at Exponent and our impact, please visit the following links: Attracting, inspiring, developing, and rewarding exceptional people with diverse backgrounds and expertise are central to our corporate culture. Exponent's total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent. At the Associate and Senior Associate level, total compensation includes base salary, bi-weekly bonuses for high-intensity efforts, annual bonus and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.
