Account Executive - Direct Sales

Overview Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is a leading provider of intelligent material handling systems. With hundreds of engineers in-house, the company designs, manufactures, integrates, and installs a full spectrum of intralogistics solutions, offering both Daifuku-branded and third-party equipment to meet client needs. These include leading-edge conveyor and sortation systems, voice- and light-directed order fulfillment equipment, a suite of warehouse controls & execution software, robotics, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), mezzanines, and structures, all backed by critical round-the-clock service and support. Our Specialties Package conveyor & sortation systems Automated order fulfillment Pick modules, support structures & racking systems Automated data collection Material flow software & controls 24/7 technical service, and support & maintenance Job Summary The Account Executive pursues new solution sales opportunities and profitably manages sales for assigned key accounts. Objectives will be met by building and maintaining relationships through continual liaisons with key contacts to achieve corporate key account sales goals. The account executive is expected to develop new targeted accounts to provide new growth for our operations.
MUST HAVE MATERIAL HANDLING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities Develop new solutions sales business through prospecting and networking Implement sales plans for the assigned key accounts by coordinating personal sales activities with appropriate Daifuku associates Analyze and identify issues with key accounts’ distribution systems and work with Application Engineering and other team members to develop proposed solutions Develop and implement sales strategies necessary to profitably outsell the competition Lead the sales process with assigned key account as necessary to profitably meet or exceed sales goals Represent Daifuku at assigned sales activities such as industry trade shows, trade organizations, and customer training Travel up to 50% Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required Minimum of 5 years of experience in material handling sales to the distribution or manufacturing market with a strong preference in selling advanced automation in the retail/ecommerce market.
