Key Responsibilities for the Interim Controller:
Lead all day-to-day accounting operations for a complex multi-state nonprofit organization
Ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and accurate financial reporting
Partner with executive leadership to provide financial analysis and strategic insights
Oversee and mentor accounting staff while driving operational excellence
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations
Complete ad hoc tasks & projects as requested
Qualifications for the Interim Controller:
Bachelors degree in Accounting required
Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leadership experience
Management experience leading accounting teams required
Nonprofit experience required; Medicaid/IDD experience strongly preferred
CPA or MBA preferred
