Critical Care Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner
Healthcare Partner Associates
Position Overview One of our Partners in Boston, MA is seeking a Critical Care NP or PA for a full-time ICU locum assignment at a nationally recognized academic medical center. This is a unique ICU opportunity without procedural requirements , allowing you to focus entirely on patient care in a structured, team-based setting.
- 13-hour day and night shifts
- No procedures required
- Consistent full-time schedule with rotating weekends
- Strong attending and fellow support
- Academic flagship hospital: Massachusetts General Hospital
- Pay positioned in the Top 15-20% of academic ICU APP locums (2026 data)
- No procedures required - responding clinician model
- Epic EMR
- HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission-certified agency and active member of NALTO
- Local Radius Rule: Providers within 60 miles are considered local
- Travel & Lodging: Not provided for local candidates; assignment designed for local/regional providers
- Round daily with attending physicians
- Manage ICU patients and coordinate care plans
- Respond to clinical changes and support bedside care
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
- Complete follow-up rounding in the afternoon
- Provide coverage across day/night rotations
