Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

A global leader in food-processing and milling technology is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its Food Application Center in Plymouth, WI. This is a unique opportunity to work with sophisticated machinery used for customer trials, product development, milling, extrusion, and specialty food applications. Every project is different. Customers bring new applications and challenges to the facility, and you'll help configure, troubleshoot, align, commission, and prepare equipment to successfully execute their trials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and equipment repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Work with PLC-controlled equipment; Allen-Bradley experience preferred.
• Set up, configure, align, and commission machinery for customer trials.
• Modify milling equipment and machine configurations for different applications.
• Support milling and extrusion trials for internal and external customers.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Maintain and update maintenance schedules.
• Partner with engineering on equipment upgrades and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and support required inspections.
• Support facility utilities and Food Application Center operations.
• Help reduce downtime and ensure equipment is ready for customer trials.
• Support Food Safety and 5S initiatives.
• Participate in maintenance training and continual learning.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance or field service experience.
• Food manufacturing or food-processing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• PLC experience; Allen-Bradley preferred.
• Technical diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, vendors, and customers.
• Experience traveling between facilities or customer sites is a plus.
