From vibratory feeders to entire process systems, General Kinematics creates the solutions customers require to process even the most difficult materials.We are currently looking for a qualified Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for the assembling of orders and preparation of goods for shipment. Additionally, this position requires working within a team environment with other areas such as purchasing, sales, engineering and manufacturing.Job ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and follow procedures that comply with Company policies.Fill orders with the correct parts and quantities.Package product in accordance with customer and GK requirements.Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.Be aware of the importance of using correct lifting techniques.Fully support the Company's ISO objectives, policies, procedures and the GK-Way program.Comply with and participate in training on all safety rules.The willingness and physical ability to work on our equipment, which can include climbing ladders, crawling under objects and lifting in excess of 50 pounds.The ability to speak, read and write in the English language.The willingness to work from existing policies and procedures and the ability to build knowledge.The ability to resolve routine problems.The ability to take ownership and show support for workplace initiatives.RequirementsRequires working on hard floor – sitting, walking, standing, laying, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting and stooping.Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift.Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly with occasional lifting to upwards of 75 pounds.High School Degree or equivalent.Minimum of (1) year of work-related experience.Must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment.Pay: $19.00- $21.00 hourly. The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation.
