Right this way...to a new and exciting position where you will literally put butts in seats and ensure that our guests are nice and comfy while watching the best shows Las Vegas has to offer. Ushers are assigned to greet and assist guests while maintaining order and safety during events.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:Assist guest with seating locationCollect and review tickets from guests as directedAnswer guest inquiries regarding exits and amenities such as restrooms and concessionsKeep aisles clear of obstaclesOversee assigned area for situations requiring staff attention (spills, disruptive guests, etc.)Assist with cleaning the theaters and restrooms between and after showsDiffuse potentially physical and/or dangerous situations using non-physical methodsAssist with the enforcement of the camera/taping policies for each eventAlert management of any guest’s special needs or emergency situationsMaintain a constant awareness of safety and accident preventionAssist with stocking the bars and retrieving items as neededPerform other duties as assignedWHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL:Ability to communicate effectively in a positive and upbeat fashionProfessional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company appearance standardsMust be able to work well with others as a teamExcellent time management skillsHighly attentive to detailAbility to respond calmly and handle many customers’ demands in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays, while meeting Company attendance guidelinesEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:Must have prior customer service experienceShowroom usher experience preferredMust be able to understand, read, write, and speak English clearlyExperience recognizing and responding to visual and audio cuesESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:Work environment: Indoor, live performance theaterAbility to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, pushing, climbing, and/or kneeling without restrictionsMust be able to continuously maneuver up and down stairsMust be able to tolerate a higher noise level working environmentAbility to lift up to 50 poundsThis job description should not be interpreted as all-inclusive; it is intended to identify major responsibilities, skills and requirements of the job.
