Job Description Ohio Department of Public Safety - Director's Office/Information Technology (Application Development) Responsibilities Under general direction from the assigned IT Supervisor to provide solution designs, develop project plans with a project manager, or recommend approaches through defining tasks and/or leading meetings related to computer application programs. Assist analysis of the solution design's business case. Edit or create enterprise or IT artifacts for recommendation and approval, including policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, best practices, and position papers. Develop pass/fail testing criteria. Assess overall system performance, including optimizing code and identifying and resolving peripheral software/hardware conflicts. Qualifications Option 1: 60 months combined work experience in solution design, project planning, or related activities, including 12 months in primary technology (.Net C#). Option 2: Associate degree in computer science or information systems plus 42 months combined work experience with 12 months in primary technology. Option 3: Undergraduate degree in computer science or information systems plus 36 months combined work experience with 12 months in primary technology.
