Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join our team in Wellford, SC, 29385. In this role, you will oversee the mechanical operations on different projects, ensuring that all jobs function efficiently and safely. If you have a passion for leadership and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the mechanical pipe fitter, pipe welders, riggers, millwrights, and helpers to ensure optimal performance of the crew and the job.
- Develop and implement job schedules and procedures to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of project progress and identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and project execution.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for mechanical operations.
- Experience in the industrial piping and machine installation field.
- 10-15 years of experience in mechanical projects or a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
