About the Position

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ Year(s) License: Certification/Licensure required to work as an RN in Tennessee Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience: ACLS, BLS, NRP Labor and Delivery experience Fetal monitoring Description: Candidates are needed to perform in the Labor/Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum Units. The facility consists of 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds. Patient ratios are 1:2. The electronic health record system used is Meditech. The patient population includes maternity women and newborns. Hiring qualifications include required certifications prior to the start date. Candidates must have a positive attitude, be cooperative, and possess initiative. Preferred skills include PALS and familiarity with Centricity and Meditech, although they are not mandatory. Common diagnoses and treatments involve labor and delivery procedures. Weekend and call requirements involve rotation as needed. Please ensure all certifications are up to date before applying.
