Job Summary

Senior QA:S / QA Engineer - Online Banking Experience: 7+ Years Role: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) Domain: Online Banking / Digital Banking

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for online banking applications.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data .
• Validate critical banking functionalities including login/authentication, account services, payments, transfers, transactions, statements, and user management .
• Perform API testing and validate integrations between front-end applications and backend services.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira and collaborate with development and business teams for resolution.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies , sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Perform regression testing for application releases and production enhancements.
• Support UAT, release validation, and production verification activities.
• Analyze test results and provide clear status reports, risks, and defect summaries to stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in software QA/testing , preferably within banking or financial services .
• Strong experience testing online/mobile banking or digital banking applications .
• Hands-on experience with API testing, REST services, SQL, and database validation .
• Experience with Jira, Postman, SQL Developer/other database tools , and test management tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect lifecycle .
• Experience with Selenium or other automation frameworks is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Automation testing using selenium
• Mobile testing using appium
• Test Data Management (TDM): Using masked or synthetically generated data to safely mimic real customer financial records without privacy breaches.
• Risk-Based Testing: Executing tests targeting high-risk transactional paths first to minimize potential financial loss or compliance failure

Preferred: Experience with payments, ACH, Zelle, wire transfers, authentication/authorization, fraud detection, and other digital banking workflows
