Registered Nurse - Ortho/Spine - Full Time Days

Position Summary This role is part of Williamson Health, a regional healthcare system in Williamson County, Tennessee. The position requires direct patient care in a hospital setting, administering medications and supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent RCIS preferred (must be obtained within 6 months of hire) or any Tennessee state licensure that allows the administration of medication, with compliance to Continuing Education requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire Response to the hospital within thirty minutes for on‑call requirements At least one year of direct patient care experience Equipment and Skills Training Proficient use of Meditech computer system and Site Rite Proficient use of guidewires, catheters, and other necessary supplies Physical Environment Hospital setting, sterile patient testing room(s) Physical Effort Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing Prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) Ability to transport patients on stretchers or beds up to 250 lbs. dependently or independently Make appropriate judgment decisions in urgent or emergency situations Ability to work well under pressured response Key Results Assemble table for all procedures and maintain sterile field Demonstrate working knowledge of necessary equipment Locate needed supplies/equipment in a timely manner Handle/transport medications and solutions safely and in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures Document accurately and timely Communicate with physicians and other team members regarding patient information, scheduling information, and supplies needed Reproduce exams on CD/film Seek opportunities to assist in other areas during downtime periods and make good use of time Maintain a working environment that is clean, organized, well stocked, and free of clutter Collaborate with fellow employees to enable efficient use of equipment and throughput of patients Williamson Health is an equal‑opportunity employer and a drug‑free workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr Williamson Health
