Job Opportunity: Neuro-Ophthalmologist
Our organization is actively looking for a dedicated ophthalmologist with a specialization in Neuro-Ophthalmology to become part of our full-time team, which includes both subspecialists and general ophthalmologists.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care.
- Engage in research activities.
- Teach and supervise residents.
- Instruct medical students.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in ophthalmology or neurology.
- Fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology is mandatory.
- Candidates with additional skills in comprehensive ophthalmology and/or surgical procedures will be considered.
- Must be Board certified or eligible.

Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated total annual compensation for this position is approximately $235,000. This figure includes variable compensation and is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) work schedule, as detailed in the department's compensation plan. The starting base salary, which varies according to experience and faculty rank, is expected to range from $210,000 to $250,000. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Please note that residency in California is required upon the start date for this position. This opportunity is not eligible for a Conrad 30 waiver. The department will consider qualified candidates through the 2168 CA Special Permit Program.
