CERNER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

No first time travelers

• Unit: L&D (approx 300 deliveries a month)
• # beds: 2 OB ED beds, 4 antepartum rooms, 9 labor rooms, 2 OR's
• Certs: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced EFM
• Ratios: Follow state and AWHONN guidelines
• EMR: Cerner; fetal link; hugs security system
• Charge Nurse: Yes, generally do not take patient, have resource nurse that will take ST
• Nurse Aides: OB techs (2 per shift) to scrub C-sections
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend but may work more depending on rotations
• Holidays; 2 out of 3 majors
• Call: None
• Scrub Color: Provided by hospital
• Tele: none
