CT Technologist - 40 Hours - Midnights

Shift: Full Time – 40 hours per week, midnights 8:30 pm – 7:00 am, rotating weekends, holiday coverage, and on call. Cross‑training opportunities are available for radiologic technologists who wish to pursue a career in CT. Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Observe patients during the procedure and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Education and Experience Required High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR an Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience required. Certification and Licences Required BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of the hire date or transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following: Nuclear Medical Technician credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire or transfer date. Nuclear Medicine Technician obtained prior to hire or transfer date, plus CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification, ARRT(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification, and NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire or transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire or transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
