Pediatric CVICU Registered NurseLocation: Dallas, TexasAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, rotating weekends (day shift Saturday and Sunday, night shift Friday and Saturday)Job Description: A dedicated and skilled Pediatric CVICU Registered Nurse is required for a specialized position in the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and high-quality care to critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and well-being while utilizing advanced medical equipment.Responsibilities:Providing comprehensive care for ICU and step-down level patients.Managing care for patients with congenital heart disease and post-operative management.Performing central line and arterial line placements, intubation/extubation, and post-operative recovery of general and cardiac procedures.Monitoring patient vitals and responding to code situations, including ECMO cannulation and decannulation.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Must have at least 1 year of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience as a staff nurse.Minimum of 3-4 contracts in a dedicated pediatric CICU.At least 2 years of PICU experience as a staff nurse with the ability to manage arterial lines, central lines, and transthoracic lines.PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.Preferred: 2 or more years of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience and experience with caring for neonatal cardiac patients.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
