Warehouse Shipping Receiving Clerk and Delivery Driver

Job Description

A Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Clerk and Delivery Driver to play a key role in managing warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, and fulfilling customer orders. This position involves both clerical duties related to shipping and receiving as well as driving company vehicles to complete local deliveries. The role operates within a small team and reports directly to the Operations Manager, supporting smooth logistics in the Grand Rapids and the Kalamazoo area.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping and receiving tasks accurately to maintain inventory integrity
Manage inventory control and assist with order fulfillment
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
Complete local delivery routes between Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and the US-131corridor
Drive company pickup or stake trucks (Ford F150 or F250) safely and efficiently
Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure timely shipments and deliveries

Required Qualifications

Entry-level experience in warehouse operations
Valid Chauffeur License for delivery driving

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with inventory management
Forklift operation certification or experience
Knowledge of shipping and receiving best practices
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing
