IT Senior System EngineerAs IT System Engineer, you will be expected to perform at the SME or expert level supporting the Intelligence Community Information Technology. Responsibilities include providing requisite expertise and support in establishing and managing systems engineering functions, developing and applying advanced software/systems methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems, planning, conducting and technically directing projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects, analyzing, evaluating and planning method of approach and organizing means to achieve solution of complex technical problems, conducting investigations and tests of considerable complexity, reviewing literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects, reviewing projects progress and evaluate results, recommending corrections in technical applications and analysis, specifying materials, equipment and supplies required for completion and implementation of technical projects, evaluating vendor capabilities to provide required products or services, and providing technical consultation to technical staff or other organizations.Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field of Study, 8+ years of experience with general systems engineering, knowledge of requirements management, configuration management, lifecycle readiness management, risk management, and schedule management practices and processes, ability to work independently with minimal oversight and high autonomy, TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, strong background in IT Sys Engineering, strong analytic skills, and geographic location in Chantilly, Virginia with minimal travel.Company information: TENICA and Associates LLC is a provider of government services and consulting solutions in the areas of national defense, homeland and cyber security.
