Behavioral Health Technician

Our Client is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide for residential care to support trauma-focused residential program for youth ages 13-17 recovering from human trafficking and complex trauma in Arnold Area. CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS Schedules Available Morning 7am-3pm, Afternoon 3pm-11pm and overnight 11am-7pm available 7 days a week with flexible Shifts. Immediate Start Competitive Compensation SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY Provide therapeutic and/or behavioral support to children and youth participating in the residential program. Implement daily activities, individual plan treatment goals, and monitor resident behavior. Assist in monitoring residents' daily living skills, including personal hygiene, dressing, and care of possessions. Assist in supporting healthy eating behaviors by preparing meals and snacks. Assist in monitoring and increasing resident life skills development. Develop, implement, and participate in all resident activities and outings, including recreational activities, education and vocational training. Other Duties Assigned CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Compassionate about the care and well being of others Minimum of a High School Diploma Must have 2+ years of experience in a residential setting serving children and youth preferred.
