Our organization is seeking full-time, board-eligible psychiatrists to become part of our Mental Health Service Line team at the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics (VASORCC) located in White City, Oregon. VASORCC delivers primary care, mental health services, and psychosocial rehabilitation to approximately 18,000 outpatients and 525 residential Veterans. As a psychiatrist at VASORCC, you will provide patient-focused care as part of an integrated care team, utilizing a comprehensive Electronic Health Record system that connects all national VHA facilities. Candidates with experience in collaborating across various disciplines to deliver psychopharmacological and behavioral health services are highly desirable. Additionally, psychiatrists will be responsible for offering telehealth services to other VHA clinics. While board certification is preferred, we welcome applications from individuals with equivalent qualifications. All psychiatrists at VASORCC must secure a buprenorphine prescribing waiver within three months of their start date.

Available Specialty Psychiatrist Positions:

Lead Psychiatrist: In this role, you will collaborate closely with the prescribing team within the Behavioral Health Service, overseeing psychiatric prescribing practices. You will also be involved in the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) and our Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP), providing care to Veterans.

About Our Organization:

We serve outpatient Veterans across southern Oregon and northern California, as well as residential Veterans primarily from the western United States, with 16% coming from other regions. Our residential psychosocial rehabilitation program is dedicated to assisting Veterans facing chronic mental health issues, substance abuse, and homelessness.
