Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Colville, WA 99114

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Colville, Washington

Schedule: Variable day and evening shifts (7:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 12:00 PM start times), 12-hour shifts, 3x12 schedule. Rotating weekends required. No on-call or night shifts. Block scheduling required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• 10-bed Emergency Department at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with no trauma designation
• Patient ratios of 1:3-4 with daily census of approximately 30 visits per day
• Care for all age groups from infants through geriatrics
• Telestroke and Telepsych services available; protocols include Cardiac Level I, Code Stroke, Sepsis, and Trauma Alert
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams
• 40 hours of orientation provided; free parking available

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 3-4 patients
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central line care, IV vasopressors, continuous IV sedation, BiPAP/CPAP management, ABG interpretation, ventilated patient care, triage, blood product administration, and IV starts/maintenance
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must disclose any previous work history at related facilities
