Job Responsibilities
  • Design Custom Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and construct tailored therapy strategies that help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and everyday activities.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-focused care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their caregivers on effective therapy methods to ensure sustained progress at home.
  • Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical developments, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to keep patients on track.
Education
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Ongoing education or further professional certifications encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
Skills
