The successful candidate will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles, transporting goods, and handling touch freight with efficiency and care. This role requires a commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage physical tasks associated with touch freight.Uphold a positive work environment that follows Goodwill's Amazing Customer Experience (ACE) culture, Values, and Mission in everything you do and every interaction you have with co-workers, clients, customers and management.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Safely operate and navigate commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in various road and weather conditions.* Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.* Load and unload touch freight using proper equipment and techniques.* Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and logbooks.* Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and professional interactions with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to minimize accidents and injuries, especially during touch freight handling.* Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and report any issues to the maintenance department.* Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.## QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.**Education and Experience** High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on-the-job education in a specific skill area, e.g., data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.**Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations*** Must have a valid state driver’s license and be insurable by the company's insurance carrier.* Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.* Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.* Clean driving record with no history of major accidents or violations.* Proven experience as a CDL Driver or similar role.* Ability to lift and move heavy objects.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Strong attention to detail and time-management abilities.* Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, Inc.
