Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to join their team of 5 Neonatologists and 7 NNPs in Des Moines, IA. This role involves covering two hospitals, including a 60-bed Level 3 NICU, and caring for infants down to 22 weeks gestation. Des Moines Medical Center MercyOne Medical Center features a 60-bed Level 3 NICU with an ADC of 42 MercyOne Medical Center provides 24/7 in-house coverage and full subspecialty support MercyOne Medical Center cares for infants down to 22 weeks gestation and has an active neonatal transport team MercyOne W. Des Moines Medical Center has a 5-bed Level 2 nursery and NBN with 24/7 in-house NNP coverage Responsibilities Care for infants down to 22 weeks gestation Round daily with discharge coordinator and social worker Provide neonatology oversight for the NNP team Round at MercyOne W.
