Title APP Bronson Family Medicine Stadium NP or PA-C - Kalamazoo, MI Location BMH Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, MI Description Bronson Family Medicine Stadium is seeking to hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their busy established Family Medicine Practice. Position Highlights Full spectrum family practice patients Work alongside two physicians and three APPs No OB or inpatient medicine opportunity Hospital‑employed, full‑time outpatient only position Team approach with Ambulatory Care Manager, clinical pharmacy support, social worker, and nurse triage Responsibilities Perform comprehensive and problem‑focused patient histories and physical examinations. Interpret laboratory and radiologic tests, correlate subjective and objective data, and formulate a diagnosis. Develop and implement treatment plans within scope of practice under physician direction. Conduct inpatient and outpatient patient care as required. Utilize word processing, spreadsheet, presentation programs, and other software relevant to the job. Communicate clearly and effectively, including using SBAR technique. Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and facilitate patient progress toward outcomes. Assist in clinical management, quality measures, and appropriate preventative measures. Perform utilization review and determine appropriate level of care or need for transfer to a hospital setting. Maintain accurate documentation for billing, medical care, orders, and progress notes. Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Current unrestricted or pending licensure in the state of Michigan. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing compassionate and quality patient‑centered care. Prescriptive authority and collaborative agreement with oversight physician(s) for PA participants. Maintenance of all requirements for medical staff privileges.
