Efficient Grass Care Manager
Job Description
What to Expect in the Role:
- Efficiently optimize the growing and care of all grass varieties with all available tools.
- Efficiently harvest sod to ensure timely deliveries with minimal waste.
- Maintain all equipment in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain an optimum employee staff to perform all aspects of farming operation through hiring, training, and motivation.
- Report all pertinent information to the Regional Manager and Corporate Office.
- Keep up to date records and reports for company use.
- Review and approve all purchases; process all invoices through appropriate channels to accounts payable in corporate office.
- Be sure weekly safety training is performed to minimize work related accidents.
What We Will Be Needing From You
- Bilingual English/ Spanish preferred but not required.
- Must have basic mathematical skills including working with units of measure.
- Must be able to make sound judgments with minimal supervision. Must be able to make calculated decisions that are most efficient, effective, and economically feasible.
