Part Time Dietitian Under supervision by the PACE Program Manager, plans and provides nutritional care for Siouxland PACE participants as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team. Assesses nutritional needs, develops and implements nutritional care plans, and evaluates and reports results appropriately. Maintains professional competency and skills required for professional practice. Part Time Benefits Full‑Time Equivalent: 0.4 hours per pay period. Shift: Monday‑Friday, flexible hours. This part‑time dietitian role supports the interdisciplinary team in delivering nutrition care to participants. Obtain and evaluate nutritional and medical history, laboratory data, test results, medications, diet orders, and nutritional regimen to determine participants' estimated nutritional needs. Recommend and implement nutrition interventions to maintain or improve nutrition‑related medical diagnoses. Complete nutrition assessments per regulatory guidelines and develop participants’ plan of care. Instruct participants, family members, staff, and contracted providers/facilities on diet, food safety, and sanitation. Document participant information in the electronic medical record (EMR) and plan of care. Attend Interdisciplinary Team meetings daily and team activities when scheduled. Perform other duties as assigned. Education Master's degree in dietetics or equivalent after January 1, 2024. Registered Dietitians prior to January 1, 2024 eligible with a Bachelor's degree in dietetics or equivalent. Successful completion of an internship or coordinated undergraduate program that meets the American Dietetic Association guidelines. Licenses & Certifications Registration or registration‑eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed or license‑eligible with the State of Iowa. Current CPR/BCLS certification. Adult Mandatory Reporter status. American National Standards Institute accredited food protection/safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) or obtained within 90 days for new hire.
