Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (12-Hour) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit on a 12-hour night shift schedule
• Meet weekend requirements of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Float mandatorily within the Women's service line; optional float to other areas of the facility as a sitter or resource nurse
• Successfully complete and pass a proctored Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course prior to starting assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Must pass the proctored EFM course before beginning the assignment; failure to pass will result in inability to start, with no retesting permitted for 6 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Familiarity with Electronic Fetal Monitoring protocols and documentation
