Junior People Operations Analyst

Overview The Junior People Operations Analyst provides essential administrative and operational support to the global HR function, helping to deliver an exceptional employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. Working closely with the HR team, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, supporting onboarding and benefits administration, ensuring HR data integrity, and assisting with compliance and reporting activities. Duties & Responsibilities At the direction of your manager, provide generalist support to all aspects of the global Human Resources function. Support new hire onboarding by collecting, reviewing and filing employment contracts and other documentation, ensuring full legal compliance. Administer employee health and benefits plans, including enrolments, changes, and terminations. Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete employee records (physical and digital) and overall record keeping, conducting routine audits as directed. Support the creation and issuance of employee related documents including but not limited to offer letters, employment agreements, employment verification. Ensure employee life‑cycle changes are accurately captured on internal HRIS systems and other HR systems as necessary. Current HRIS system is Finance & Operations (F&O), Microsoft. Assist with reporting, audits, and compliance‑related tasks. Conduct research on related topics such as employment law/regulation, employee wellbeing and workplace safety, compensation benchmarking, diversity and inclusion and industry best practices, as directed. Assist with evaluating the effectiveness of HR programmes, making suggestions for new initiatives and developing requirements. Make recommendations to the HR team regarding process improvements and efficiencies. Prepare reports, presentations and provide data on request of your manager or senior management. Educate employees on benefits and resources available to them; act as the first point of contact for administrative HR inquiries from staff. Support the internal national and internal mobility programs – including immigration support. Required Attributes & Experience Associate degree or equivalent credit hours in any field. Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to work both independently and within a team. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Problem solver with ability to suggest and implement improvements. Sound judgement and highly professional demeanor. Preferred Attributes & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Up to 1 year’s experience working in an HR capacity, ideally across multiple states or locations. Some understanding of federal and state legislation, and keenness to learn. Experience with HR software, systems or technologies, such as Microsoft F&O.
